Bruce Fischer PhD
Senior Staff Member

“You can’t lead organizations, or the people in them, any further than you’ve been yourself.”

My professional work at the Breckenridge Institute focuses on organization development in areas such as process consultation, group dynamics, the stress associated with organizational change, developing leadership skills, and executive coaching. A key to organizational and individual effectiveness is to understand group structure and dynamics and the performance of leaders, managers, and staff members within the context of corporate culture. I am also interested in methodologies, techniques, and tools that accurately measure the perceptions, attitudes, and behavior of individuals or groups of people about products, services, or organizations. My professional focus at the Institute will continue to be on understanding the relationship between culture, group dynamics, and the “fit” of individuals within the cultural envelope of an organization’s shared values, meaning and norms.
