My professional interest and work is focused on the processes of marketing and sales and how to integrate these two functions into a healthy, profitable marketing and sales engine. My experience has shown me that in order for a company to be successful in today’s market it must provide exceptional quality, timely service, and unrivaled customer focus. Consistently providing customers with these three things leads to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty, which is the cornerstone of any profitable business. A key problem in the field of sales today is that many sales professionals lack a deep understanding of the needs and desires of their clients and prospects. With the increasing use of impersonal selling methods, such as the Internet and large discount stores, a void is being created in the area of customer relations. The challenge in this technological environment is to develop authentic relationships with clients based on honesty and need, rather than money and greed, because the bottom line in high performing companies is not the one on their balance sheet; it’s building authentic relationships with clients. This is my commitment.

Jon’s Background and Expertise

Jon has a BA from Montclair State University where he minored in business administration, completed a degree in anthropology, and developed a deep interest in understanding how “culture” affects organizational performance. Jon has over 10 years experience in the field of customer relations and sales and has spent the last several years as a Sales Executive for a large media firm in the New York area.
