Majors PTI™ AR (Report by Linda Berens)

The Majors PTI™ AR is an instrument designed to help your clients learn valuable information about how they direct their energy, take in information, make decisions, and how they orient themselves to their environment. The result is the popular four-letter personality type code that is based on Jungian Type Theory (16 Personality Types) and is used by organizations worldwide (see below).

  • Introvert-Extravert
  • Sensing-Intuition
  • Thinking-Feeling
  • Judging-Perceiving

The results of the Majors PTI™ AR are presented in four separate reports created by Linda Berens. Each report provides basic dichotomy definitions and finding-your-best-fit guidelines. You get all four reports in one PDF document so you can choose which way to convey the information to your client. The four different theoretical orientations of personality that are included in the Majors PTI™ AR report are described below:

  • Temperament report includes snapshots of the four temperaments, temperament dynamics or the things each temperament has in common with other temperaments, and the themes of each of the 16 Personality types in a temperament matrix.
  • Interaction Styles report includes snapshots of the four Interaction Styles, Interaction Style dynamics or the things each Interaction Style has in common with other Interaction Styles, and the themes of each of the 16 Personality types in an Interaction Style matrix.
  • Cognitive Processes report includes an explanation of the four perceiving processes and the four judging processes, how each process shows up in each of the 16 type patterns, and the themes of each of the 16 Personality types in a type table.
  • Type Preferences report includes aspects of the dichotomies and function pairs and the themes of each of the 16 Personality types in a type table.

The Majors PTI™ AR report includes extensive resources that describe the four different theoretical orientations of personality in more detail.
