New Life Indicator™ (NLI™)
The NLI™ is a psychometrically validated assessment tool designed to help identify key elements of your personality. Based on the nine personality types of the Breckenridge Enneagram™, the NLI™ is specifically designed to be used within the Christian context of congregations, denominations, faith communities, and non-profit organizations. The Breckenridge Enneagram™ is set apart from other approaches to the Enneagram by its focus on a naturalistic, scientific view of personality assessment and psychological processes that is aligned with Christian faith. Referencing sources such as Richard Rohr’s book, The Enneagram: A Christian Perspective, Diane Tolomeo’s book, Biblical Characters and the Enneagram: Images of Transformation, and Mark Bodnarczuk’s forthcoming book, Sanctified for God’s Use: A Biblical Perspective on the Enneagram, the NLI™ report provides insight into how our personality and psychological processes can be understood from the perspective of Christian faith. The NLI™ can be administered using the two reports described below.
- NLI™ report measures and describes the nine Enneagram types
- NLI™ Plus report measures and describes the nine Enneagram types and the three Somatic Instincts
Training Program
The Breckenridge Institute will either administer the NLI™ for you, or we'll train and certify you to
use it in your congregation, denomination, faith community, or non-profit organization.
